Răzvan Anton in ‘Too young for memories’
Mihai Iepure-Gorski and Răzvan Anton tackle memory and recent history – 30 years from the fall of communism – in the exhibition Too young for memories at ElectroPutere Gallery in Craiova, Romania (3 November – 20 December 2019).
The project takes its title from a proletcultist short novel by Teodor Tango, suggestive of the biological age of the protagonist (a young theatre student), but also of a cultural age – the age of young societies acting without acknowledging the results, just as teenagers sometimes do.
The works in the exhibition act as a series of reflections that “confront the audience with the signs and simptoms of a failed revolution”.
