Gaep presented Vlad Nancă’s video work NADIA in an exclusive screening attended by Nadia Comăneci. The event, co-organized with Macromex, took place in conjunction with the exhibition Vlad Nancă: Construction Time Again (24 April – 6 June 2026). 

Using archival photographs of Nadia Comăneci taken during the 1978 World Gymnastics Championships in Strasbourg, NADIA subjects the gymnast’s image to recursive fractal multiplication. Her body proliferates across an endlessly branching structure, oscillating between the logic of athletic training and the logic of natural growth. The repeated figure evokes the countless training sessions required to achieve perfection in gymnastics. 

Vlad Nancă made the video collage in collaboration with Ion Cotenescu for an exhibition held in Italy in 2014, and in 2026 he collaborated with Cosmin Nicolae on the soundtrack. The screening at Gaep on June 5 was the first public presentation of the video in Romania.
