Gaep at RAD Art Fair 2026 with a group presentation

20 April 2026

We are pleased to announce our participation in RAD Art Fair 2026 with a group presentation of works by Roberta Curcă, Sebastian Moldovan, Vlad Nancă, and Ignacio Uriarte.

On view from April 23 to 26 at CARO Bucharest, the presentation brings together works by two artists who have just joined the gallery – Roberta Curcă and Vlad Nancă – alongside new or recent works on paper by Sebastian Moldovan and Ignacio Uriarte.

All the works on view in Gaep’s booth have never been exhibited before in Romania and the majority of them have been made specifically for this presentation – from Roberta Curcă’s colorful drawings that process her personal engagement with nature and technology, to Sebastian Moldovan’s monochromes that examine the relationship between information, knowledge, and truth in the era of AI-driven digital ecosystems shaping human reality.

In Ignacio Uriarte’s monochrome drawing, the deceptively simple scribbling gesture creates forms that can evoke both architectural elements (arches and vaults) and a dense natural environment such as a jungle. His other work featured in the presentation is a diary in the form of an Excel spreadsheet that names the exact date of every day in Franz Kafka’s life.

With the new mosaic piece produced for this presentation, Vlad Nancă extends his speculative exploration of a future led by women by extracting an image of gymnasts from its original context and recontextualizing the characters completely as carriers of celestial objects. The work complements the solo exhibition concurrently on view at Gaep – Vlad Nancă: Construction Time Again, opening on April 24.
