Featured in our booth at miart 2023: new and recent works by Răzvan Anton, Raluca Popa and Ignacio Uriarte – three artists who combine the directness of the drawn line with rigorous processes that expand the medium of drawing and integrate strategies from different sources.
This was our first presentation in the Established section of the international modern and contemporary art fair in Milan, after several participations in the Emergent section.
One of the large works on paper in the booth – Răzvan Anton’s Fading Study (Tarnița Water Dam) – was selected by Fondazione Fiera Milano Acquisition Fund. The jury was composed of: Diana Bracco (member of the Executive Committee, Fiera Milano Foundation), Ralph Rugoff (director, Hayward Gallery at Southbank Centre, London), Dirk Snauwaert (director, WIELS, Bruxelles), and Bettina Steinbrügge (general director, Mudam Luxembourg).
