EXPO CHICAGO 2025

Cătălin Pîslaru was the subject of our single artist presentation at EXPO CHICAGO 2025. Gaep’s booth in the Profile Section showcased new paintings that examine the tension between opposing forces: nature and architecture, unpredictable behaviour and human rationality, unstoppable organic evolution and functionalist, rule-based thinking. This was both the first presentation in the US of the Düsseldorf-based artist and our first participation at an art fair in America.
